The Hostess with the Mostess Gift Guide

I’m so excited to have my first ever holiday gift guide up on the blog!  This blogging adventure has been so much fun, and every week I learn more and more.  If you’ve ever considered blogging, my advice is to just start!  You’ll be so glad you did!  Okay, on with the very first official OssaJane Holiday Gift Guide…For the Hostess with the Mostess.

Hostess Holiday Gift Guide 2017

With Thanksgiving just about a week away, and Christmas right around the corner (not to mention New Year’s Eve)…tis’ the season for celebrations!  As your calendars start filling up with cocktail parties, dinners, and holiday get-togethers, be sure to keep your hostesses in mind.  Most hostesses try to go above and beyond to make every gathering special.  So why not say “thank you,” with a well thought out gift?  If you’re looking for a gift for the hostess with the mostess, look no further.  In this holiday gift guide, I have put together 24 gifts that I’m sure any hostess would love to receive (but remember to include the gift receipt, just in case).

Click on the right arrow to scroll through my top picks!

A couple helpful gift-giving tips…

  • don’t bring a gift that requires your hostess to do more work.  For example, if you do choose to bring flowers, make sure they’re already in a vase.  That way your hostess doesn’t have to scramble around to find a vase while the other guests are arriving.
  • Buy a few hostess gifts at a time.  That way you will have a stock of them, and won’t need to rush out to buy something the day before or the day of the party.

I hope this gift guide inspires you to say “thank you” with a gift that goes a little beyond the liquor aisle.  But, when all else fails, grab a good bottle of wine!  Just don’t show up empty handed 😉

What are your favorite gifts to bring the hostess?  I’d love to know in the comments below!
