Today I thought I would share with you my top 10 Whole30 Must Haves. I feel like now I am constantly reading food labels, an I seem to find a new product that is Whole30 approved every time I go into the grocery store. How awesome is that?! But after 13 days on Whole30, there are 10 food items that I must have in my fridge or pantry 🙂
10 Whole30 Must Haves…
#1 Malk
I had never even heard of Malk, but I was so happy to find it at Target of all places! It comes in a variety of flavors, including Unsweetened Almond Milk, Unsweetened Cashew Milk, and Unsweetened Vanilla Milk (pictured). The Unsweetened Vanilla Milk uses vanilla from vanilla beans, and not vanilla extract!! That was exciting to read on the label 🙂
I thought the hardest thing about Whole30 would be having to give up my creamy coffee in the morning. But I shocked to learn that I actually enjoy the taste of coffee, and I don’t mind it without the sugar, or the half and half. Now would I prefer it that way? Yes, but it’s really not terrible, and I can manage without it, and I can even say my cup of coffee is still enjoyable.

#2 La Croix Curate
You either love La Croix, or you don’t. I happen to love it, but I love the Curate line even better. I enjoy the flavors of the Curate ones more. Right now we’ve been on a Kiwi Watermelon kick. The only problem is that the Curate seem to go a lot faster than the regular La Croix, and we’re constantly buying more. La Croix Curate can be found at Target and other grocery stores Nation wide.
#3 Ghee – Clarified Butter
I use this to cook with, every day. There hasn’t been one day that I haven’t used Ghee. And I had never used it before, and now I wonder why. I’ve even used it on my sweet potatoes in place of butter.
#4 Franks Red Hot Original
You know that grandma in the commercials for Frank Red Hot who says “I put that sh** on everything?” That’s me!! I put it on my eggs, potatoes, chicken, veggies…everything! And just like some of the other products, I’d never used it before (other than on hot wings).
#5 Trader Joe’s Organic Dry Roasted & Salted Cashews
I was surprised how many nuts have contain non compliant Whole30 ingredients. These are just cashews and salt. Trader Joe’s has also been the most affordable place that I have found to buy nuts.
#6 Trader Joe’s Organic Unsweetened Coconut Chips
I don’t know what it is about these Coconut Chips, but they literally make me so happy! I know it’s strange! But after reading a little bit about the benefits of coconut, I learned that it can be a natural mood booster…who knew?!
#7 Aidells Chicken & Apple Smoked Chicken Sausage
So so so happy this is Whole30 compliant! These sausages were a family favorite before I started Whole30. They’re great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And also great to have on hand for those times when you haven’t meal prepped.
#8 Diced Onions
These are just a great time saver for when you need to throw a meal together in a pinch. And I’m all about saving time in the kitchen on a busy school night!
#9 Trader Joe’s Avocado’s Number Guacamole to Go
So I’ve never been a fan of pre-made guacamole, but I must say this one is really good. I like to put it on a baked potato, or use it for a dip with carrots.
#10 Tessemae’s Ranch Dressing
I found this at Whole Foods, and it has been a great addition this week. It was a nice change in flavor from the hot sauce/salsa and guacamole toppings.
